We look to undergird all that we do at Christ Church in prayer. Our main prayer meeting is on the first Thursday of each month, starting at 7.30pm in the church lounge.

Our upcoming dates for the Church family prayer meeting:

January 4th, February 1st, March 7th and April 4th

Alongside our central gatherings, our small groups meet twice a month, usually in members’ homes. These groups are essential to our life together – helping us to get to know a number of people better as we meet to encourage one another around God’s Word.

Homegroups generally happen on Thursday evenings.

We are looking through ‘Nehemiah: God’s building project’. A study exploring key moments chronicled in the history of God’s people: the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem after the return from exile. Nehemiah also helps us to think through any type of rebuilding we do for God – from our homes and families to our local church, our communities, and our world. It points us to Jesus, the greatest builder and ruler of all, and teaches us about gospel mission.

What's the best future you could imagine?

There are few emotions more powerful than hope. But these days, hope often feels hard to come by. Where can we find a hope that won’t disappoint us?

Hope Explored looks at the life, death and resurrection of Jesus in Luke’s Gospel, this three-session series shows that Christianity is about real hope: a joyful expectation for the future, based on true events in the past, which changes everything about my present.
